Sävedalens Mekaniska Verkstad AB was founded in 1979 by Mr. Stig Rosell – then under the company name S. Rosell. In 1997, the current premises were acquired and the company was transformed into a limited company. Stig’s two sons ran Sävedalens Mekaniska Verkstad AB (shortening: SMV) until March 2020 when Dejan Ahlenius acquired the company. Now the company is normally shortening called SMV.

Today, SMV are owned and operated by Dejan, who has a solid background in the engineering industry for 20 years. SME’s customers mostly consist of companies within the EU that want subcontracted products in cutting processing – assembled and ready for direct delivery.
