Always focused on customer value

SMV was founded in 1979 by Stig Rosell, under the company name S. Rosell. In 1997 the business moved to new premises on Laxfiskevägen in Partille and became a limited company. Stig’s two sons ran SMV until March 2020, when Dejan Ahlenius acquired the company.

Since 2023 the company has been based in Landvetter. SMV is owned and run by Dejan Ahlenius, Daniel Stark and Joakim Thors. All three have a solid background in the engineering industry going back 20 years. Most of SMV’s customers are companies in the EU that want machined parts made to order, assembled and ready for direct delivery.
